Part of adventuring is going to places that are less traveled that are a little different from our own culture. So what better location to choose for such an adventure than the United Arab Emirates (UAE)? In fact, there are so many reasons to make the UAE the destination for your next break, and you can read about some of the best ones below.

Ras Al Khaimah

First off, before you go to some of the most famous sites in the UAE, why not go to a location that provides a more authentic vibe? Of course, I’m talking about the area of Ras Al Khaimah at the north of the country, which is also right on the cost, making it a fanatic choice for a little rest and relaxation.

In fact, with the gorgeous mountains and coastline here, is no surprise that the ruler of the area, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi himself is one of its most outspoken proponents. In fact, he often encourages travelers and tourists from around the world to experience the joy of nature tourism and the true UAE hospitality available there.

Abu Dhabi

Next, when visiting the UAE, you absolutely cannot miss seeing glorious Abu Dhabi. In fact, for many people, this is the highlight of their entire tour. The reason for this being that there is so much to do here!

One place in particular that any petrol head will not want to miss is Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Of course, you can find out a fair bit about the famous sports car brand here, but it’s not just a museum. In fact, it’s an entire theme park with rides for all ages and one of the faster roller coats in the world!

There is plenty of the little ones as well including the junior GT and Bell Italia where your kids can drive around a mini Italy, making an excellent location for adrenaline junkies and families alike.

Then there is the fantastic art museum the Louvre Abu Dhabi! A place where you can either tour the facility and gaze upon some of the most unique work of art in the world or take a workshop and improve your own drawing, skating or painting skills.  Something that makes it a must-see location on any arty adventurers list.

Dubai

No trip to the UAE would be complete without visiting the world famous city of Dubai. A place where even the architecture is an adventure!

Of course, you will want to take the time check out some of the most important structures in this famous city including the Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, and the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah which the hotel set out to sea made famous by the mission impossible movies.

Then if it’s spending a little money you’re after why not head to the Dubai Gold Souk or the Mall of the Emirates? You can even experience skiing on real snow in the Ski Dubai attraction despite the often 40-degree temperature outside. Now, that would certainly be an adventure, right?
