We haven’t been able to travel for the best part of a year and that has had many of us turning our sights to future holidays. We no longer are so keen on trips that mean lying on a beach and seeing none of the sights. Instead, we are set to value experiences, looking to immerse ourselves in new cultures, trying new things and ticking items off our bucket list that we might not have bothered to do before. Because with the right and the freedom to travel being torn away from us, it has made us all appreciate it that little bit more. Here are some reasons you can’t beat travel and why you should head abroad in 2022.

There is something for everyone

When you travel, there really is something for everyone. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie, love to see the sights, or just enjoy a relaxing on a romantic couple’s trip, you can can find reasons to travel in 2022. And all while immersing yourself in a new culture, seeing new sights and meeting new people. You can mix together a whole host of different activities and find new things that you love and enjoy. Travel is the one thing you buy that makes you richer and the more that you do it, the more you will find this out.

It will make you grow as a person

When you live in one place, you can become comfortable and not learn much about yourself or others. When you travel, you are thrust out of your comfort zone and forced to navigate places that you have never been to before, to try and speak new languages and to discover new cultures and the challenges that this brings. You will have to be organized and learn to sort yourself out such as with transport, accommodation and an itinerary. You could have to get from a beach BBQ to an air show schedule, to something completely different depending on what you want to see. This can all help to make you grow as a person and become more independent. 

You can learn your passion

If you don’t know what you want to do in life, travel can help you to discover what you love. You might find a new found love for water sports, for cycling or for organizing events. You can discover new skills you didn’t know you had. Or maybe you will find out just what you want your future career to be. It is a great way to learn your passion in life and figure out how to achieve this too.
